That wont go away
I bleed the pain
that’s still here today

I bleed the anger
that’s still inside
I bleed the rage
Of wanting to die

I bleed away
Your memory
I bleed away
What will never be

Some cuts are deep
Some just scratches
It all depends
On what life catches

I still try
To forget what happened
But the truth still bleeds
The knife keeps tappin [comments] => 7 [counter] => 153 [topic] => 36 [informant] => tractorbabe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

I'm not usually a big fan of rhyming poetry, but you did a good job on this one.

Good poem, well written and well prsented too, it's really stirring and gloomy, but that's what it is supposed to be!! Good effort.

Wow! I can totally relate to this one. This explains perfectly what cutting is all about....bleeding out unwanted emotions instead of expressing them. I've never been able to find the words to describe it...now I know. Thanks for sharing....keep writing.
