Dell's Sig Cell

" Let's Pray "

Millions of people live their lives in the slums
Many productive citizens refer to them as welfare bums
Its not their fault they were born to live this way
Their life is spent surviving from day to day
The poor are frowned upon by many in society
Their mere existence depends on you and me
We have so much, they have so little
They resort to begging, as we belittle
They are banned from society and kept down
When most folks see them, they are greeted with a frown
They only want the same things we do
A place to live, food on the table, and a job like you
Its not their fault they have nothing to wear but rags
Having to survive from day to day is really a drag
They rely solely on public transportation to get around
Most folks treat them as though they are the dirt of the ground
They see us selfishly consuming things every day
But we always turn our heads the other way
Must they live poorly and suffer great dismay
For them, bow your head, and together, Let’s Pray!!!!!

Wow... this was defiantly filled with great truth.. certainly shows how cruel our world is.. and how horrible people treat others.. just because they arent as well off or maybe because they dont look the same.. my heart goes out to everyone that doesnt have a covered place.. or isnt exactly well off... i know i have done my share to give and im only 18.. our word is by far not perfect though.. and these kind of incidents will occur.. the only thing left to do is pray... and hope that everyones prayers will come to.. to have enough strength and freedom for everyone to bare..

Wonderful write... your words flow very nicely
