Religion was merely a survival instinct
There is no god and the devil is ourselves
We impose human like qualities on our gods
The best of humanity and the worst
Evil is not power, it means nothing, what you do means nothing
You are not victorious over anything by succumbing to your weaknesses
You are nothing by succumbing to your sick human nature
Our human nature of destruction and perversion
But we cannot change ourselves, Choice is an illusion
You are, what they have made you
The devil is only the worst of humanity
What we fear he will do, we have already done to ourselves
Do not fear him, fear yourself
The devil does not exist, the devil is us
