Array ( [sid] => 66041 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Sometimes [time] => 2004-10-04 01:17:39 [hometext] => well i'm just plain confused....i can't trust myself or the one I apparently love...love is hard and so is stupid life [bodytext] => Sometimes the clouds are too heavy
and the rain won't go away
and sometimes I'm just not ready
to take on another day
Sometimes the pain is blinding
and it gets harder just to see
when the wings of darkness open
spread wide and engulf me
Sometimes the days are endless
and sometimes they end too soon
who cares about my happiness
in the end it's always ruined
Sometimes the one I turned to
isn't always there
and often I don't know what to do
when no one at all cares
Sometimes I can't see tomorrow
because today hurts too much
Everyday brings more sorrow
So I have to lean on my sharp metal crutch
Sometimes the future is shady
My dreams are too far from reach
The possibilities drive me crazy
because I want them in my reach
Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing
am I even doing anything at all
I constantly feel the effects of losing
every time you push me over and let me fall
Sometimes I walk in confusion
do I trust you or do I trust myself
Maybe I could do both
if you would show me something else
Sometimes I feel inadequate
like a ghost unseen to the world
Will you let me disappear again
or will you keep your promised word?
Sometimes I'm afraid of dying
but I'm more afraid to lose
and I'm tired of all the lying
my heart is one big bruise
I hope that you can wake me
and bring light to this darkness of mine
Will you help me to see
that I don't have to lose everything this time? [comments] => 6 [counter] => 186 [topic] => 32 [informant] => AnastasiaN [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

I've always said we can't always trust opurselves as we're human but
we can always trust God.
I think we all have these thoughts-n-feelings in one way or the other at times.
Very good writing even tho sad it's a cold hard truth.
Hang tuff.
luv, huggs, faith, hope,
emy

This is a very good poem written by a good poet, it's well written and so emotional, I really liked the last two lines "Will you help me to see that I don't have to lose everything this time?", Good effort, keep it up.
