Still I commit myself to you, each and every day
A strain on personal relationships instilled
Nonetheless,they thrust my dreams uphill

Magnetic fields of passion and devotion
Creates a source of sincere dedication
Makes my life committed to nothing but you
You,my dream,which I can't help but pursue

Sometimes you truly seem unattainable
Leaving my heart hopeless and unstable
But my little furball keeps my heart steady
And my steadfast family keeps my mind ready

A few years to go and you will be mine
When dream and reality will finally intertwine
The day when I'll be treating animals of all kind
Will be the day my heart will truly shine

that first thing to pop into my head when i finished reading this was "that was so cool!"

the entire time I though it was about someone you loved but didn't have, but then when it said a few years i doubted that, and then I put the title with the ending and the furry and of course the part about treating animals...that was so cool.

This is such a beautiful and happy poem... your are a star Cindy! I loved the line 'Magnetic fields of passion and devotion
Creates a source of sincere dedication’ I loved the use of magnetic! I also loved 'But my little furball keeps my heart steady' - bless! A furball!- very cool in my opinion...

I thought this was a lovely piece, I liked the way it felt different from some of your other work - and the topic felt fresh! I know you will make an ace employee in whatever you do my friend...
