Array ( [sid] => 65306 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I Remember When You Cared [time] => 2004-09-27 08:47:16 [hometext] => we both have lots of things going on in our lives & we are losing each other because of it, it's a shame as we adore eacch other & are best friends... [bodytext] => I remember long ago when you cared,
When you used to notice I was there,
We had so much love & much more,
But that has long walked right out the door.

All I ever asked was you to love me for me,
I tried to be everything you wanted me to be,
But I just couldn’t keep the smile in your heart,
We slowly but surely ripped each other apart.

The tears steadily flow down my sad face,
They leave in my soul a deep & lonely trace,
I longed for love all through my life of pain,
Never thought I’d feel like this ever again.

When you look at me do you even feel?
A multitude of things have broken our seal,
Onto our love I will always hold onto,
As after all I still really do think the world of you.

Two years is a long time for me to share love,
I never want to remove my hand from your glove,
It feels like things are stacked against you & I,
Many a time do I sit here on my own & cry.

What is happening to our once wonderful bond?
The one we’d both wanted for oh so long,
You say that you still love me, but I still hurt,
I know that we’ll both try our best to make our love work

Real love is a struggle to maintain. If it's worth it, you'll get there.
