Array ( [sid] => 65267 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Dark hunter and Blood Flower: The last journey. [time] => 2004-09-26 19:43:41 [hometext] => More story than poem... another VERY long one guys, i am sorry! lol.. I can't help my self. Prob. be another, heheh....Well, here is the dark world of the infamous lovers! [bodytext] => Under ebon stars, I'm weeping...
Under the crescent moon I lay,
Her portrait of light,
So telling of Her ghostly grace,
Beckons me towards distant shores,
Across a lonely sea...
I am washed away by a sad song,
Dying in the wind...
Our song...
These tears I weep,
Crimson, tainted, never-ending...
These thoughts,
All of him, mon chasseur d'obscurité...
'Twas that glorious night when he returned to me,
Seeking for my love, my comfort...
He was weary from his long journey,
The Mother has been destroyed,
Now only a lost legend, a vague memory...
Oh, how I missed him!
How I have longed for him!
More beautiful than before,
Ever so deliciously perfect,...
He was my dark Prince, my Protege, my lover...
A tantalizing caress,
Flesh upon sweet flesh,
Our bodies beautifully interwoven in a loving embrace...
I sing to him our harmonious requiem,
A soft flow of poetry escaping my lips,
Surrounding him, enchanting him...

' Two lovers dance upon Midnight's breast...
The moon, the precious moon, rises and hides in the soul,
A group of shadows shines what is eternal,
And the light seems to negate itself with tones of forgetting...
Eternity, the Temptress, walks everywhere,
And is always trapped in the same things,
The same dreams, like you...
Wrap a kiss in a leaf of Beauty, the voices have died, and Death doesn't know it...
Sleeping to the dreams, to your eyes, to the Goddess's voice that imprisons thoughts without wanting to ...
Sleeping in the hope of seeing you at every instant,
Or only for a moment in this time of centuries... '

I still remember the fragile day,
The way he gazed at me with such longing, such passion...
My sun had died,
And in the darkness,
He was all that I could see...
'Twas the darkest era in my existence,
I had just become a child of the Night,
My new mother, my incessant inspiration...
Left alone by my Sire,
Not knowing of these foreign ways, not knowing where to go...
Only the endless pains of a hunger that would inhabit me for centuries to come...
A need to kill,
An insatiable thirst for that beautiful crimson essence within...
I stalked the nights, weary, pathetic,
Feeding off of rats and meek animals,
Nothing could satisfy me...
Insanity, my newest friend,
Darkness, my current life, or should I say existance, for my heart beats no longer...
My last breath was stolen by the monster that created me...
My senses keen, my mind forevermore corrupted...
In the sea of marble where the dead laid,
Resting peacefully; oh how I envied them so!
Is where I found him,
Beautiful, deliciously obscure,
Seemingly hunting for something,
Seemingly waiting for me...
Anxiety and unbearable hunger consumed me,
Weakening me...
Under the constant watch of my Muse,
I ventured closer to the mysterious man,
Relishing his sweet scent,
His pungent fear, for he knew something evil was near...
By the crossbow and the silver crucifix wrapped around his neck,
I discovered he was a hunter...
A morbid, scrumptious hunter,
Burning with an inner fire, his blood warm...
I could taste him already, wanting my mouth over that delectable neck...
Drinking away his memories, his thoughts, his life...
"Come out, demon!" My hunter's voice called out to me...
I present myself, waiting for his reaction...
Irresistable was my body,
Enchanting were these liquid amber eyes,
Unbearable was the desire I caused men to feel...
Teasingly, I stroked that soft cheek,
Kissed those lips,
Nipped at that slender neck...
He could do nothing, he was already under my control,
Only to return as a creature of the Night...
'Twas that blessed night when he became my eternal lover,
I, his Sire, his Teacher,
He, my perpetual mate, my fervent pupil...
I gave him my mark, She who inspires me so, la Lune,
So we could be bonded forever...
'Twas that night when we made passionate love,
Thus naming me his precious Melodie,
His sweetest Blood Flower...
Ah, such blissful reveries!
I remember them so well...
They inhabit my dreams, my waking hours,
Those lonely days when he is not present...
He, my perpetual dark hunter, is here now,
Whispering sweetly our song,
Proclaiming his love to me endlessly...
Warm in his strong arms,
Safe and lost in his bottomless eyes,
Those honey-green, Heaven eyes,
Shimmering with tears of joy...
And yet, a sadness surrounds him,
A black cloud over his head, something is troubling him,
I can feel it...
Sorrow thick in his voice,
He tells me he must go once more,
On that long journey to the far lands...
Anguish grasps my heart, why must he leave me?!?
I am utterly lost without him!
I beg him to stay, to ignore his duties and stay here with me forever...
It pains him to see me like this,
His Blood Flower wilting with every tear that fell...
He kissed me, holding me with unwavering love and desire...
After a moment, he finally let go of me,
Leaving me, worthless, on the floor,
Pleading, desperately begging for him not to go...
With tears in his eyes,
"I will come back for you, mon precieux fleur! I shall return to you!"
Without a final farewell, he vanished into the night,
A broken soul, a morbid shadow...
It was for the best; for 'goodbye' is forever...
I knew he would come back...
What still perplexed me was,
Now that the Mother was annihilated,
What more was he to slay?
Was this journey to find more evil,
Horrid creatures of the Dark?
Or was it really to find himself?
Endless nights of torture,
Terrifying dreams of him never returning to me,
Never again to have his presence, his kiss...
But I shall wait, for a lifetime, be if needed,
For mon chasseur d'obscurité to return from the enigmatic odyssey...
Forever and always shall I love him...
Forever and always I shall wait for him... [comments] => 6 [counter] => 187 [topic] => 13 [informant] => FleurdeSang [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Poet at Industrial Colosseums Unbound
Says:

A dark and shining gem!

Oh, did you say rAHHTTs?
Well, OHHKAAY:

"Dead cats, dead rats, did you see what they were at, alright
Dead cat in a top hat

Sucking on a young man's blood
Wishing he could come, yeah
Sucking on a soldier's brain
Wishing it would be the same

Dead cat, dead rat, did you see what they were at
Fat cat in a top hat
Thinks he's an aristocrat
Thinks he can kill and slaughter
Thinks he can shoot my daughter

Dead cats, dead rats, think you're an aristocrat"
(Last line omitted for reasons of decorem.)
-The Doors "Dead Cats, Dead Rats"

Oh and this tale of "Blood Flower" brings to mind:

"A STORY AT THREE"
Lyrics: Davey Havok
"again and again they blend into one, my father the morning pushes through moonlight love. so what's sleep? sleep. i'm tired, so tired, but it seems that there's someone here with me. we are the wakeful, wry, watchful. we're awaiting. deathless ones. a story at three with the shrillest of cries. my mind fights with the sparkles in the corner of my eyes. i hear the morning choir sing to me their elegy. so beautiful. they sing to me their elegy. requiem. "
-AFI "A Story At Three"

I hope this isn't truly the last journey of "Dark hunter and Blood Flower", as you write the tales so well!

Jolly Good Show!

Stunningly beautiful. Perhaps they will both wait at times, each upon the other. For their paths may cross a multitude of times. Surprised encounters of coincidence could be their lot. Stormy, passionate rendezvous that seem accidental ? (interesting)
