sweet.
Whenever I put a spoonful in my mouth
pure ecstacy.
And sometimes it would upset my stomach
As all things sweet taken in too much quantity
often do.
So what can one expect?
My ice cream....
Mmmm, how I love my ice cream.

So one day, I was out shopping...
And I ran across the most sweet
succulent
smooth and creamy
hot fudge I'd ever seen in my life.
I had to taste it.
It was still warm too...
And when I put it in my mouth....
pure ecstacy.
Cause you know I love me some chocolate.

You know what I did?
I had me some hot fudge....
creamy, sweet, and succulent
hot fudge...
with my cool, smooth and creamy
vanilla ice cream.
The combination is intoxicating...
Overwhelming most times.
But what am I to do?
Cuz I love my ice cream
and you know I love me some chocolate.
I can't let go of one or the other.
I'm addicted... [comments] => 5 [counter] => 287 [topic] => 64 [informant] => Jeanetta [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ambiguous )

I loved the poem. I am a food and sugar addict. I know that sugar and most carbs do harm me and I still reach for it and compulsively overeat it. i have struggled for years with my addiction. It's always triggered on some kind of emotions or a state of being I don't want to confront or deal with. People make it seem so easy when they say just don't have any, or my favorite just have a little of it dear. If it was that easy we wouldn't be seeing so many obese people in this world, I included. Hey a good writing is when you can get a good response from it. Good Writing!
It's nice to see it in a sense of humar persay.
