He watches it all, sees the truth through the lies
Silence in order to keep sin at bay
Nocturnal deliverance, he’s haunted by day

Nefarious deeds done to those almost pure
An angelic front, one can never be sure
His features regal, he cries for those lost
In the war for redemption, too much was the cost

His God was forsaken, his brethren slain
Blue was the sky, but red was the rain
He fought to protect what was taught to be true
He died for his spirit, his host, and his due

Unnoticed perspective, he sees what we’d hide
A black hearted angel, a pure hearted guise
He waits in the wings, content just to hear
And when Fate brings the judgment, he’ll bring what we fear
