[hometext] => The idea for this struck after I read the poem by krazychick09 * I love You So*... I wrote this in about 2 hours or so... initially it took me about 30 minutes to write... then all the tweeking... as I call it... to get it right... comments appreciated..
[bodytext] => These warm southern breezes blow softly through my heart... my mind As I sit here... remembering another place... another time Not so long ago... The summer of '04 When I met you and you met me When we found each other... oh... so innocently We were both so poor... But what we had between us... was so much more Love... that's for sure The times we spent... just holding on... To each other for so long Never wanting those nights to end Just loving each other again and again In those warm southern breezes Where have you gone? Will you ever come back? I miss you more each day... babe... and that's a fact 'Cause good friends are so hard to find... And even more precious to lose Where is the essence of what was once me and you? Has it gone too? Don't dismiss... my heart... babe Don't dismiss... this tear I cry Don't dismiss... my love for you Just know that it's so real... so true There are no strings attached 'Cause my love for you goes on forever... my friend No... I won't ever let go of you... babe Not in a million years... NOT EVER! So... don't dismiss... this heart of mine A single teardrop falls upon this photograph I hold so dear... in my hands In my heart is where you'll stay 'Cause I miss you so much this day... I know this sounds crazy... somehow... someway But all the encounters we have had...
