[title] => Heaven's lottery(tribute to my mum.)
[time] => 2004-09-12 19:24:21
[hometext] => written for my dear mother. (a repost from Mick's old site.)
[bodytext] => There's been a trillion babies throughout the years of Earth, and each one wins 'a lottery' just before their birth. It's a lottery run in heaven, on a roulette spinning sun, the dice ? a sparkling rolling star, that shines when winning's done. Some of the prizes are petite, like 'perfect dainty dancing feet,' some prizes are gigantic...., 'to be loved by all you meet.' Some win the prize, 'to see through lies' 'to sort out fibs from fact', some win 'the knack of endless tact' and some the gift, 'to bounce right back.' Some win'the smile that freezes guile,' or 'the eyes at all times wise,' some win 'wealth... and magic health,' and 'youth that never dies.' For some, their prize is 'beauty,' or, 'being born a king,' For me...............? I won...THE JACKPOT PRIZE: My pick of ...'ANYTHING!!' I could have had a kingdom, with fame and fortune too, but...when I thought it over, I found more worth in... 'YOU,' This choice was wiser than all others, I took .... The BEST of heaven's mothers. P.S. 'I love you mum!" xxx from Kay.
