Love is forever and a day
And is shown in many a way
In a smile a gentle touch
Love is saying I miss you so much
Then giving a hug and a kiss
for a smile from a tiny miss
Love is a broken heart or two
being so close to you
A sweet memory that pains
Love a pure light that never wanes
making time that passes so slow
is mine and yours I know
A flame that burns bright.
dreaming on a restless night
Love is having two Angels on high.
a cry and a gentle sigh.
knowing we'll meet again
Love a having of hope and pain
Of eternal peace for one and all
waiting for us in God's call.
LOVE is?

ur poem is really sweet and to me is the simplistic definition of the word love! Something so hard u made seem so easy a true poet u are!

This is VERY sappy, but you do it well. Try changing the title, because "Love" as a title, automatically makes the reader think the poem is a cliche.

Awwww . . . definitely an "awww"-inducing sort of poem, I'd say. Sweetly sentimental, which in some cases falls flat, but you make it work here. Nice job, definitely, but I agree with emo that a better title might be nice :).

Love is an impossible emotion for humans to specifically define. It is different for different people as there are so many nuances of it. Life without love would be horrendous and bleak. Love and hope are what I think keeps the world turning. Great write here.
