Tonight I felt a little down
The tightness in my throat
People that do not understand
Take your time to gloat
Medication had hold of me
But now Im cutting down
Do I feel sane enough
To even walk about town
Daughters by my side
Telling me to chill
But I am the mother
Hold on to them still
Sometimes I get panicky
I have to take control
Now I am in mummys mode
Kisses do console
Im trying to feel free
Omitting all chores
But I know deep on down
Im holding all the scores
