Let me out there to take look in, or a peek
Whom do I seek for these long awaited answers
Is there no hope for young women with emotional cancers
Whom do I look to for the unattainable light
Is there no switch to brighten the plight
If there was one answer, may I suggest
Get this weighing burden of my chest
For my mind can no longer function
I want this mindful meeting to end in a junction
A meeting of mental good and evil
There is no hope, for I am in an upheval
My mind plays tricks and feels so heavy
My Body is the same, but no magic there
My mind tells my eyes--do not stare
For your body is a body and not to compare
When can I learn to accept and give in to this battle
Right now I am lost and only feeling like blind cattle

Hello Gemini and a warm welcome hug to YPDC.

This is the first poem I have read of yours and I felt alot of sadness and a feeling of being burdened to the maximum level.

You really expressed how you were feeling to the reader. Isn't that what poetry is all about?

Keep writing and i'm glad you have joined our growing family.

Kie
