Visionless-like a blind-man
This story, I must tell.

The look in his eyes captured my soul from the start
I began on a journey that could never be fully told.
A never-ending road, I thought, we would never be apart.

So, he grabbed my hand, in such a loving way
So many times you could feel the vibrations of his love through that simple touch.
But, each time we let go was a foreboding, I must say.

And his lips-such a poisioned bliss
These butterflies fluttered in me and trailed behind it was happiness
Be it as it may, this was complete irony that I seem to miss

Than came the embrace that trapped me
I fell into an indescribable attachment to him
I was locked in his world in which I am still not free.

Somewhere between then and now God decided it was time
Though I am still lost in love and locked in his embrace
My eyes began to open to see that I am no longer blind.
