nothing ever clear
weary of this path
debts in arrear
no hand held out
all the crosses to bear
this journey in vain
no one truly cares
all their coffers full
as this pocket lays empty
scattered to the winds
searching for some sanity
too many changes
so far losing has won
which avenue is open
what shock left still stuns
moot hasn't any point
and irony it's own joke
licked her finger testing the wind
but walked too far past the choke
nothing makes any sense any more
lost the meaning long ago
trifled and manipulated her future
now there's no place left to go
run around in circles
searching such a waste
the crystal lays in front of you
daring you to haste
lost the will to hope for
anything close to there
wishing to feel more than cold steel
thinking tomorrow will care [comments] => 4 [counter] => 148 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

So Hopeless, so futile Jaymee......no future, but already resigned to your fate. Like cold steel.......tomorrow you hope someone, anyone will feel and care!!!
Same theme through out..........depressing, yet very much real!
Wishing your tomorrows are warm and feeling, and hope they are better than one you described here!
Warm love
consue
