When you're alone and hurting
and the world has turned it's back on you
When you regret everything
Know that I do too
When you feel like your life is a mess
and you just want to give up
when you reach out to nothing
know that you'll have my love
When you might hurt someone
or you might hurt yourself
just remember me
and why I'm gone
When you feel like your life is worthless
and there's no good reason to live
look inside yourself
and you'll find my encouragement there
When you've experienced all the pain
that God has meant to give
and when you can find pride in yourself
you'll find your reason to live
Just because you can't touch me
doesn't mean I'm not there
and just because you can't see me
doesn't mean that I don't care
We all make our mistakes
and hurt the ones we love the most
but when you can rise above that
every past mistake becomes a ghost
When you find your place
and you're happy in your life
maybe you'll see my face
when everything is set right
For now we say goodbye to the people
that we knew and once loved
and maybe some day we'll say hello again
as better people in the end

| This is one of the best poems I have read dealing with this type situation. You have a great way of putting your emotions on paper and getting the reader to feel some of what you felt writing this. Thanks for sharing. awesome job!!! |
