I had a dream last night
And only it could seem so real
I awoke to find myself in nothing
With nothing left from that dream in which i could feel
It's like my life seemed so perfect
As I lay there in my sleep
Because I seemed to lay there next to you
Suffocating in your beauty, and in too deep
The sickening feeling I awoke with
And the way I could love you even still
But I am waiting here without you
And when you shoot, you shoot to kill
I'm so far away from you in reality
And in your beauty I can barely breathe
Come rescue me as you did last night
Please come down off that cloud and see me
I would take what I could from you
Nothing fills the deepest of your stares
I still think you are so incredibly beautiful
But it hurts that I'm the least of your cares
