Worn by pain, love ,joy ,hate.
Slip right through the grooves
you helped
Create.
Feel the sting of words,
See the blood of pain,
Feel the tears of joy,
That down my soul they rain.
Try to run a mile,
Without ever loosing your step.
Try to hold your head up and fly high
When people around you are struggling
To keep your wings tied.
Try to breathe easily,
Knowing what lies ahead,
Try to keep your breath steady,
And forget the past once lived.
Try to change the carvings
Painted deep red on the canvas of relief,
Try to make them disappear
And strengthen your belief.
Try to clear away the haunting
Of your thoughts,
And all the while
Try not to loose yourself.
Walk in my shoes,
Worn from pain ,love ,joy hate.
Try to heal wounds
You alone create.
Try to understand I have
feelings too,
Try to learn a lesson
from walking in my shoes.

Walk in my shoes
Worn by pain, love ,joy ,hate.
Slip right through the grooves

Create.
Feel the sting of words,
See the blood of pain,
Feel the tears of joy,

an all-encompassing life theme... my feet are kinda big, but i could have a try at your shoes.
