I Understand Now

How you couldn't see before,
Callin me on all my issues,
Like you had none of your own,
But I understand now,
When three, when we,
Were put into the time of jeopardy,
We all had our own things,
To go through,
To get through,
And I guess you never saw me,
Make my way through mine.
Which explains why you can't see,
So now I understand,
How you don't understand.
I guess you didn't see the changes in me,
When I became the withdrawn, let down
Version of myself you see.
Never noticed how I hollowed,
And sat in my heart,
Watching the walls beat,
Waiting for the real life to start.
Never saw how I was aching,
And had lost my self,
Always wondering when the eye,
Of this tornado would come back on itself.
I never saw the changes coming,
So how could I expect you to?
All I what you to know is,
There is a reason I am, who I am, today.
Because I'm still in recovery,
From a pain you didn't see.
Still needing the comfort,
Still needing to be just me.
So now I understand how you couldn't have known,
Same as I didn't see anything,
Going on outside of me.
But since you don't know,
I guess i have to tell you,
So go back,then, and see
The don't question me.
