The shots are beautiful
Like a gift of god
My god, wretched and cold

The tattered blankets cover you
Sheilding you from the omnicient
It is trying to understand

The camera flashes, the scene changes
You are stunning within the lens
Too brilliant for words

The scene changes again
My cold, dark god shines a glimmer of all that is beautiful

You are in the spotlight.

Within this torture
I am unable to speak
I have been amidst the complete beauty of the world

You are the beauty
You are the hope
You are pure love

These scenarios pass like frames within a movie
Flashback to the present
I am in fear

The thought of the star
Not being in the show
Saddens all within the world. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 195 [topic] => 43 [informant] => ReachingZero [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

RZ...i never commented before cause I never really thought you'd ever be back on the site... but now I'm commenting because I just want you to know that this is the best poem I have ever written by far. I dont know what exactly about it appeals to me so much, but I've read it about 30 times and everytime I cry. And I love that feeling. This is absolutely the most incredible piece of writing I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful in its simplicity. Makes everything seem like it should be so simple... :) Thank you again for sharing this poem with us here and especially me. I'm so glad I came across your name... :) Your poem continues to make my day each time I read it. By far, you have a fan. Please keep writing.... if nothing else, just because someone has to see it. I'd love to see it all though. :) Great job here. Just phenominal. Wow. .... wow.
