Grief

Lost--
cold, dark, and longing.
longing for someone
to save me.
Save me--
from my own destruction
and torment.
Caught--
pulled and trapped into
a tangle
of darkness.
Shattered--
broken into a million
pieces smashed
into a jagged surface.
Unknown--
swept into oblivion
where my pieces are
Lost--
lost and forgotten...
