Array ( [sid] => 61658 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Waiting Game [time] => 2004-08-28 07:42:16 [hometext] => There's been some problems with my therepy appointment.. went back to the doctor last week, things should get moving now [bodytext] => I have been playing the waiting game,
Nothing changes, everything’s the same,
Waiting for my counselling appointment,
All the while I’m feeling more bent.

Three months they say I have to wait,
Depression dangles suicide like bait,
I am really in need of some support,
Far too long have my feelings felt fraught.

Deep rooted anger that needs to be dealt,
Talking of feelings I have never felt,
Because I didn’t let myself feel,
Alcohol made my thoughts so unreal.

Now I can begin to face my lifelong fears,
I know it’ll be hard & I’ll shed a few tears,
This is something that I need to do,
Not just for me, but for me & you.

Anger, depression, doubt & rage,
Have all succeeded in putting me in a cage,
But where I was weak I am no more,
At last I have found the key to the door.

I just hope I can make it to the day,
I fight against misery stealing me away,
In my heart & soul I know I am strong,
Just wish I’d have known that all along.

Sweetie, I really do hop things start getting better for you. Krissy, you are strong and you can get past this. You have too much to lose not to put your heart and soul into it. Hugs and love and borrow some of my strength if you need too.

Rita
