through the gloom.
Looking down the alleyway I hear
voices that mention you.

They sound very angry apparently
I killed his brother and never knew.
Now I am the hunted finally good
news.

I know where I will lead them
straight to those damn dunes.
I need to prepare and leave town
soon.

Sticking to the darkness knowing
I wasn't seen.
Wondering what it is that tomorrow
will bring.

Hiding in the sand seeing the dawn
of day.
Knowing they are coming time for gun
play.

The minutes are ticking as the sweat
beads away.
The moment is here time for judgment
day.

Then out of nowhere right around noon, he
has come by him self without any crew.

It will be a standoff I think of you.

Calling out your name I step from of my
hiding place.
Glad this will end face to face.

Looking into his eyes seeing madness
and fear to.
Reaching for my gun not a moment to soon.

A rush of light a cracking boom, a hole in his
chest. I have ended this feud.

Trembling I sat down and watched his blood
ooze.

Thinking to my-self love is one hell of a
powerful tool.... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 13 [informant] => DarkFey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
