we wonder why they had to be
why all the pain why all the suffering
every answer holds more questions

I look around me and sigh at all the loss
if I cry it is relief and it is also sadness
in our grief we sometimes fail to see life
every answer holds more questions

for I ask myself is this what its all about
from my pain to my relief to my sadness
forever alone not to share not to see anymore
every answer holds more questions

where do we go from here to salvage our soul
will it be enough to satisfy our needs
what is this desire for HIM in my time of need
every answer holds more questions [comments] => 1 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 39 [informant] => maryetta [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

so so true. Every answer DOES hold more questions. I think that's why it's so hard to let go sometimes. I totally relate.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
