Wondering if the prey is enough to keep it at
bay.

She was a lovely young girl and now her mother
cries in vain. Knowing it was her turn to give
her heart away.

It is the horror that all families in the Town of
Reed must pay. When the monster comes he must feed
then return to his watery grave.

We owe him that much at least thats what they say.
For the death of innocent man in such a horrible way.
I hope to know the whole story some day.

But for now, here I lay. Wondering did she scream at
the sight of his face, or did he show mercy and kill
without haste?

I hope for her it ended that way and think of the fate
