[title] => BUSH - FAILED PRESIDENT: THE MIRAGE
[time] => 2004-08-25 06:02:09
[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Look at the world scene. The world now sees AMERICA as a threat to all Those against America point to this threat Can you hear the radicals call? Bush played right into their hands By initiating a sideshow attack It has left America vulnerable With new recruits inside Iraq And the future radical government? The theocracy of Iraq? Will, with time, unlike Saddam Pose a REAL threat of attack Bush has squandered the chance The chance to use good will He created a recruitment machine Creating terror and a deathly chill To each and every American soul For generations without end What incompetence this is To weaken and not defend And the mirage of unconquerable strength? Where is it now? Where has it gone? Vanished like water on sand Dried by the heat of the sun There will be no further attacks Iraq was it, there can be no more With the world now against America What danger Bush brought to your door And with the world mistrusting him What can Bush really do now? Not much that’s sure The circumstances won’t allow He has squandered all America’s hope With his lies and misguided acts He is a leader who is lost Vainly seeking to hide the facts The mirage cannot be sustained Because America is weaker still Seen as a renegade power Led by the mentally ill All that well-wishing world All those who sought to help and sustain They wanted to support a DECENT plan They feel nothing but disdain Bush only led a sideshow He had no long-term plan Just a flimsy knee-jerk mirage That faded on Iraqi land [comments] => 1 [counter] => 436 [topic] => 41 [informant] => steeleyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => political )
