Can't get away from it, I know i can't hide,
Take too many pills to ease the pain,
Dont know if i'll ever be the same,
I try so hard to make it go away,
It always pops up any day,
This battle of depression never ends,
When will my chance to be happy ever begin,
This kind of Cancer, dont know if ill survive,
It makes u feel dead, instead of alive,
I stay in my own world that i live in,
Just want to be alone, dont want to be around my friends,
I hate feeling this way, i hate feeling sad,
The things i go through, makes me so mad,
This depression is tearing me apart,
it kills my soul, it rips my heart,
It eats into my brain,
it drives me insane,
Makes me lose my mind,
I'm so far behind,
There was so many things i wanted to do,
Depression stops me from being motivated too,
This depression makes me sick in the head,
Sometimes i wonder if im better off dead.

Depression is a real mind killer, its like a seething flame, lingering and burning at last dregs of emotional sanity.
I still feel it now and then, but I fight it, because death isnt any better. I write ,draw what ever it takes to keep it at bay, All I can say is you need some one to talk to im here, most days, and some nights, as it is all you talented poets that keep me motivated.

Please take care always,

Kindragon

Awhhhh Jenn... it is hard sometimes, I know. But the bad times are temporary and the good times that come after are worth it. So worth it. Keep looking forward and keep writing - it does help. No matter how bad the storm, the sun eventually shows itself again.

Thanks for sharing this.... and again, WELCOME to YPDC! *hug*

Wishing you sunshine,
SNM

Ok another apluse please to the wonderful write by Jenn.. Amazing make the readers feel what you are trying to say.. Its amazing I LOVE "This depression makes me sick in the head,
Sometimes i wonder if im better off dead". PLEASE PLEASE People don't ever let this happen to you.. Because depression can kill and make your life miserable noone should ever go through it.. People come and go in you're life but no one should ever ruin you''re life.. See it as it comes never take it right away you choose to let it in or just walk away and brush you're shoulder off and keep going living life... People should understand we only live once.!!!!
