with tight fingers and white bulging knuckles
remember the day
remember the hour
why is it now that my life's so sour
riping the edges fraying all the corners
I can't let go of that kodak moment
my eyes burn holes in your face all night
if only I could face you real life tonight
no longer can I hold on to you for this long
the sweat is dripping onto the cold tiles
I feel all numb
I have to drop you
my controll is gone
the heat from the fire is near by
flames swoop you out of my aching hands
burn now and rest
I have to now live my life without you
that's for the best

*sigh* I know the feeling. Especially of loving someone you care and love so much for. And then they leave, and things go wrong, or they just don't want the person anymore. I understand. I lost someone too...and I love him very much, and it's just too hard to let go. Sometimes I wish there weren't such a thing as love. :(
