No one person will escape.....
Harsh and unfair times of life's rape!
We all hope for justice, 'tis not there!
When offended, in pain and despair......
Don't reciprocate, and try to repay!
Like your enemies don't become--Touche'
Normal response is to make them feel.....
Same heartache they caused, same ordeal!
With vengeance in your heart display
Repay like for like.....you yourself will dismay.
For you've become like your enemies,
Stooping to their low life level--common feces!
Melt them, pour hot coals on their head, return kindness.
Treatment of them, likewise yourself, gentleness.
Like your enemies you cannot become then.....
Being loving to you, n'er enslaved, remain freemen.
"Tis not easy, that's true, I've been there I know.
His Strength He furnishes, great flow, pronto!
The injustices heaped upon you, he saw too!
"Tis Vengeance I will repay!" for me and you!
Because we place kindness on our enemies head
Not by any means declares them innocent unsaid.
Our Loving Creator comforts us from the dread!
Returning with loving kindness, He blesses us instead!

Strong write Connie,but sometimes it seems though the nicer you are to people the more they step on you and vice versa.But your last verse confirms why we should remain kind and loving towards everyone.Great write,

i recently fell out with my sister in law and she wont talk to me at all now, at first i hated it and felt i didnt deserve the treatment so resorted to apologising to keep the peace and losing my cool all the time.
but lately ive decided to let it go over my head because i psychic told me what you say in your poem (in so many words)
he said ' forgive those who are bad to you, because when you die it is hard to pass on to the next plane of life if you dont.

Another wonderful write Dear, that just happened to be read at the exact moment that it was needed. It is not our place to judge others, that right has been reserved by a much greater power whose justice would so by far outweigh any that I could issue. Thank you for reminding me of that.

So true...we do attack them once they have attacked us...or they other way around...I'm learning not to be such an angry and sad person, been working on it for a few months now...YAY! and I'm getting better...I've kinda taken your advise on writing about happier stuff...thank you
