tears in the eyes of a mother
holding a courpses hand
life in the hands of a god
cries of the people against him
clear are the views of a killer
hurting those people who grin
hate in the heart of a son
love in the arms of a father
harsh are the thoughts of a rebel
misunderstanding one another
pain in the voice of a lover
truth in the sound of a lie
hope in the wants of a couple
before they both go to die
glad are the sons of the righteous
faint are the sounds of desire
burned are the dreams of a dreamer
scourched in a holy fire
