Ask the moon to stay so bright
In the night they hold all my fears

The night sky is my only friend
I know it will be there until the end
Even when the sun takes it’s place
I know the moon still has a smiling face

I know the night sky will always be there
There is no one who can even compare
I know my secrets are safe and sound
And I know where the night can always be found

Take my hand and I’ll show you the night
I promise it will always give you light
Whenever your scared and don’t know what to do
The night will be there to will listen to you

As long as you kiss the lonely stars goodnight
And ask the moon to stay so bright
Then they will hold all your fears
And they will keep you from shedding so many tears

I’ll kiss the lonely stars goodnight
Ask the moon to stay so bright
In the night they hold all my fears
Stop me from shedding so many tears

The night sky is my only friend
I know it will be there until the end
