You're the tears that I cry
You're the blood that fills my heart
You opened my soul
You made me whole
But then you tore me apart
You always forgive
You're the reason I live
You were the light that showed me the way
And each day that I try
To make love survive
It seems to have only gone astray
I can't understand
Why you hold my hand
When you claim that it's not meant to be
The damage is done
But you're still the one
Who will always be everything to me
You're all that I need
And please take heed
When I ask that you not let me go
You brought me to life
But then held the bloody knife
But all of this, you already know...

| I saw how few reads this had..it was a shame..the feeling it shows..a kind of begging feeling..I've been there and I hated it.. the poem reminded me and gave me a resolve never to go there again..thanks for that... |
