reality it slowly slips forward and into my mind poisoning the only goodness that flows through my viens
i cant get away from it its forever there stalking me pulling at my skin calling to me
its threats echo through my mind loud and clear so evil and unforgiving like Satans child
i try to hide from it in the only place ment for true i stash myself away into sleep the only place where reality is unimaginable
so into a deep sleep i travel tho one cant sleep all day in that case extra help is used
thats why i take Gravol, the sleeping pill with endless opportunities

The poem would have been better off without the reference to what you use as an escape - that way it's left for the reader to consider what their own form of escape is.
