[hometext] => This was a poem I wrote when I was going through a pivotal moment in my life.
[bodytext] => Moving Closer, toward the endless abyss Watching my life fall away like a snake shedding Observing everything fall to my deaf ear Tired of hearing, seeing that which is destruction. Life became morbid as a tombstone Love became a nightmare like the movies Uniquity fell away as clones arose Simplicity dopped instantly as difficulty was born. Animals that once thrived in this land die off so fast Beauty that once contained depth is now just a shallow pool People that used to contain a bright side have turned into ogres A sky once lined with stars is scattered in darkness. Walking towards the vortex, I shall not get sucked in That which is meant to hamr others heals me People that want to kill go docile when they see me Angry Gods taking wrath on everyone but me. Now I see though, I live in my own world My disillusionments with reality hit me ten fold What I thought was a gift to me was really a curse And what I thought would heal me instead spread like cancer. Get me out of here and into the light Take the curse off and free my soul Let that which harms me truly begin to heal me Shed some light upon the scattered dark sky. Let no beauty become so shallow as a drop of rain Give people the spark back they once contained Revive back the populations of extinct animals Help the difficulty to become simplicity again.
