I ride down the asphalt road,
The August sun following me,
Everywhere,
Deceiving my eyes,
With liquid mirages,
Floating,
Like ghastly specters,
Disappearing on the wind,
Waiting,
For the ecstacy of daydreams,
To nourish the dreamer,
Who,
Captures the waving trees,
In silent words,
Spoken,
To the passing birds,
Who sing the secrets,
Beyond,
The simlpe understanding,
Of passive ears,
Where,
All things merge,
Into the deafness of reality.
