the shore we walked upon so many times
the daylight tearing away at my beyond pale skin
I felt the sinews melt away as I drew a tear in her eye

Slow-motion waves gently crashed into her
Slowly taking her beauty out to sea
the sweet soothing rain that once calmed me
Withered away to just a hollow memory

I watched as the sand filled the hollow places
Where my warmth of my finger tip had just been
Debated on whether to try to draw her once more

Like I said, this is so utterly sad. Loss is one of the hardest things to endure, and accepting it is about 10 times harder. But eventually, nothing that matters now will matter at all anymore. Good things will come to you, Jase. I believe it, because you deserve it, and there has to be some sort of balance in everything. It's hard to believe that there is anything out there that can't be washed away, but if there is, I sure hope you find it.

You have written sad beautiful words that touch the heart.

It is hard when its finally over.

Hang in there okay? Please keep writing.
