waiting to take, without asking even, our courage and sense of sight.
We also wait to be shown future paths that can be useful for soul trips.
We wait as fatigue inches closer to steps, and steps beyond leaps,
until we are surprised by fate.

Again we are left on our knees praying for health, alone in the desert.
God answers prayer.
And eventually, broken, we wake up and realize that it was all a dream.
Broken, we fall back into sleep,
back into the desert and fatigue looms over, as the sun, merciless and pounding,
until we wake up again, and realize that it's all a dream.

Every life is a dream,
and each death is a reminder that what is chosen, is fate,
and faith allows us to breath into this life,
the life that we've chosen to live.

We wake up from every dream with an image of the life before,
and dream until we remember that we are still in our mother's womb
dreaming conversations of future's past decisions.

I dream that I am laughing. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 167 [topic] => 21 [informant] => zenmind [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Zenmind, my friend, you have been so kind in taking the time and commenting on my work... So I am going to give back the kindness, and comment on this piece of perfection... Beautiful flow, and utterly true to the core, my friend... I love the ending where you are laughing at it all. Captivating till the very end... It's sad when a poem such as this is ended. But when a poem is ended, a new and greater one is created, so I am happy now... Thank you, zen, for sharing this exquisite write! You will be seeing more of me, that's a promise. On to read more masterpieces... Write on, ami...
Your dearest friend and fan,

FleurdeSang
