Falling for You

I feel alone in the crowd, swimming with emotions, I know you are close, somewhere amoung them, but still, you no longer, know I exist.
I push past the faces, I once knew and respected, looking for the one, I hope I will find.
Then we stand off together, you slightly before me, I cannot know the pleasure, of the sight of your face.
Now we're alone, and you ignore me no longer, but if the others return, I know I will fade.
For now we are happy, in moments I'll be forgotten, but I cannot forget, how you make me feel.
You walk up ahead, head held high, me dragging behind, pulled by chains of love, because I've fallen for you.
The scuffs on my face, the scars of my tears, are small and insignifigant, because I've fallen for you.
