They're about as honest as my tongue
( At least that's what I told myself )
But if you were to speak to my heart...she might be honest
( If you're lucky and you sugar coat it a little )
Use your lips wisely and make sure they taste nice...and you just might sway her
I went to her fourth room to comtemplate the warmth your face held
( Among other things )
And to maybe talk some sense into her
But she only smiled wider
I slipped on my virgin skin
Slipped and fell
Along with those stars
So I think I'll hang these stars out to dry
Before their light shines dim
I'd much rather not see them die
Your resonant thought always forces open once healed wounds
Throw a little salt and sugar on em with your fierce words and soft touches
I can feel you and nothing else
I can feel you
Yes I really loved him
Brutally, truthfully loved him
Anabashedly loved him
And everything he was
My heart, she loved him even more
Every beat was for him
"Take me out to sea and drop me off. I'll hitch a ride with the mermaids. They know what it's like to feel the pull of another." she said.
No, just leave me with my Heart and we'll argue
"I told you so. Only listen to your heart if you have a desire to bleed." my eyes said with a disaproving frown.
So in the summer I witnessed his Magic
And in the Spring after I found his Hell
But he talked so sweet
And tasted so nice
And he made the stars fall
So I'll hang those bleeding stars out to dry before their light shines dull
I'd rather not feel their death

Very, very impressive. Well-written, creative, and I really enjoyed reading this one. I hope the writing process was cathartic for you, if the emotion in this is any indication . . .
