I'm just so full of...something!
I can't put my finger on it,
but it's here, inside of me,
just waiting for the right moment
to jump out, and hurt those I love.
Which is why I'm like this,
by myself...alone.
When someone moves near me,
trying to cheer me up,
I push them away, angrily.
It's not that I'm mad at them,
or like I hate them.
Quite the contrary.
I'm glad that they're trying,
but they don't seem to understand
what I'm going through.
It's for their own good.
If they could see
what I see inside of me...
the rage...the hurt...the anger...
If someone were to become
close to me...
I don't know what would happen,
but it wouldn't be pretty,
I know it.
Which is why
it will always be like this.
Myself...away from civilization...
away from love...alone...forever alone... [comments] => 7 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 39 [informant] => MrWrite [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

It's probably not my place to say this
but sometimes when a person is going
through such a hurtful time like this
the people who are there for them make
such a wonderful difference that they
sometimes don't see, and the people
who are silent that care are helping
in their own way to. One day feelings will
arise in you with someone in your life
and it will take you by surprise. You can't
control all of your feelings all of the time
Great write , I like reading your poems
Keep em' coming and know you are not
alone in this world.

Hi,
I agree with everyone else, that you're never alone but One can be surrounded by people and still feel alone....I'm speaking form experience.
I do know that sometimes we attract the wrong kind of people. When that happens sooner or later it will turn to anger. This don't mean it's your fault, by any means!!!!
I've often wondered why we do this.....I've been alone for three years to get me straite..I lean from life but I really doubt the fact that my last ex leanred much except when I'm angry,( provoked by him) that he best leave me alone!!!!!!!! I'm not bragging about that but when you've raised three children alone then u don't take the dumb sh*t!!!!!!!
I'm by no means a violent person but don't back down from others, especially if their messing with my luved ones.
I had a medical condition that kept me angry. That has been corrected but I also take meds that help me buntches!!!
More than likely, as I did, u have some underlying reasons for your not being able to cope with others......A friend of mine here on this site somehow helped me deal with my anger and distrust of myself and others.....I certainly believe we are our own worst enemy.
Didn't mean 2 write a book but that's my two cents worth.....
Take care of yourself and hang in there.....
PEACE, LUV, HEALTH,
emy
