How I Felt
I wish I never told you
How I felt
I'm afraid of rejection still
The pain slowly dwindles
Away, but I still remember
Each day I couldn't take it
Keeping everything inside
Thought I'd find an outlet
But I was denied
With repeats the past
And is refreshed inside
And killing me like I died
I told you how I felt
You said it was too soon
For me to love you
And that was the last
I heard from you
Since I told you how I felt
