[hometext] => . . . A poem for my former neighbour, Alice. Written from an alien perspective.
[bodytext] => So, with your mechanism, you make my walls encroach. It is not I who Screams your name, my dear assistant! 'Tis but the fanged horror whom hates the seed of patience. Thirteen glowing embers, their palpability sears ... The meat upon my bones. One by reverent One, they melt metals of my door Barefoot, I wrench my ears and yawn cascading, silent tears Upon the floor on which I lie, spinning by heel's toe. So mute with horror, but alive with the hardened chill, Geese go 'bump' in the night. A child of vortesian, swirling utopian nightmares Leers through the event horizon; that grimacing hole - Licking its blackened lips, spewing acrid saliva. And now, the piteous moan. But pity it not, please! For trapped in me is this! Let it out. My Birthing pain! Dying screams and keening blood; Closer, closer, immanent, imminent, in torment - Over me, clasping me with tendrils, raw to putrify Tongue does quiver, and strain to taste and lick at my health Release me - please! Inject! Inject! ______________________________________________________ Thanks to Baroness Freda, Alice was moved down to Ward eleven, After it was found that she had tried to tunnel into my residence ...
