I know that my mistake
isn't bad for only me
It had a really bad effect
on our what's meant to be
And I cannot even think
of one single thing to do
to try to make it better
try to make it up to you
And forgiveness isn't
at all what I expect
it's something that I'm begging for
with so much sadness and regret
And I would do most anything
to make you mine again
I will give up- take on anything
if it meant it's not the end
How can I say I'm sorry
to someone I've hurt so much
Who can't stand the sight of me
has no desire to feel my touch
All that I can think to do
is give you time and space you need
And in this time I will pray
I still have a place in your life to lead
