There's a piece of paper
i hold close to my heart
unfolding the past
the creases of time show
memories are scribbled
in black pen and ink
on lines of blue
like how i feel
no one would understand
because it's all for me
but it's about him
yet not something he knows
keywords on this paper scrap
inside jokes and hurts
find me angel wings
then my broken hearts will sing
time heals all and laughter a cure
in patience i wait
not for him
but for the hurt to pass
