We can see it shining.
As you take your deep breath
While stepping off the edge.
You’re always expecting to fall
But instead you are floating.
As you wake up from your dream you know
That none of this is real.

Why can’t we see?

The truth surrounds us.

As hard as I try to realize
The hope in why we’re living.
I see that I should just give up
And re-learn how to live.
Cause why should we give in so much
To the wrong things we are doing.
When we’ll all feel so much better
When we do what is right.

Down upon the floor above
We can see it shining.
