Thoughts in my mind, frightening
Images flashing, like lightening
Voices in my head, screaming
Bringing me down, so demeaning
Need to pop a pill, swallow
Release myself from, this wallow
Sadness surrounds me, enveloping
Depression must be, developing
Need to take a drink, sipping
Try to stop myself, from slipping
Further into this whirlpool and drowning
While thinking to myself, Im frowning
Need to take a snort, cocaine
Release the tension from, my brain
Lift my spirits up, so high
Before I sink deep and die
