The new moon holds our secret,
showing our innermost desires of
passion for one another,
cast in shimmering rows of
silvery words that dare
to be given a voice.
The new moon enfolds us,
as we discover each other's mind;
exploring love's meaning
under stars that define
our very existence
and the reasons that brought
us to this place and time.
The new moon lights our way,
as we seek life's meaning,
touching our souls,
lighting the dark thoughts,
caressing bodies that need
and want to taste forbidden fruit.
The new moon smiles on us
as it blushes watching
two wanting to become one;
a meeting of minds,
two strangers searching,
wanting..
dreaming.
The new moon invites us stay
and dream awhile,
amongst reality so fine,
to fulfill secret fantasies
that once were mere thoughts
in imagination's sacred corners.
The new moon has blessed us
as we journey together
in this new found light.
Friends initially joined
by the written word,
then soulmates
forevermore...
