The grown man at the pool
The luxeries of life
The luxeries we all can have

The young girl at the saloon
The mom right there with her
The luxeries of life
The luxeries we all can have

The money spent on clothes
The friends and family you have
The luxeries of life
The luxeries we all can have

The old lady on the street
She holds a little brown sheet
It reads the words
Need money for food
The luxeries of life
The luxeries most dont have

The man with the tatered clothes
He sleeps within the dumps
Hes tried so hard to overcome
But seem to not stand alone
The luxeries of life
The luxeries most dont have

As my days pass on
I count each blessing
I now have a family
For once just my sister
Now to work up
For I wont fall
Ill never forget the people
For ill give them my spare change [comments] => 6 [counter] => 152 [topic] => 32 [informant] => heartfilledblood [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

It makes me happy to see that not all people try to ignore what doesn't involve them. I loved this very much!!

It's wonderful that you don't take all the wonderful luxuries offered to you for granted. You are one lucky person,I do hope you realize that, not only will you feel more blessed, you're heart will remain in the right place.Good piece,

Daric, the message here warms my heart. Yes we are spoiled and so many do without the bare necessities. You have a great heart and an immense amount of talent.
