Something has changed
I remember who I once was
And who I am now

There is nothing to say
My words will only hurt you
In every possible way

Not knowing why
I cringe when I talk
Why I seclude myself from everyone
Or what it is about me that ***** everyone off

Waiting for a fairytale
That will never come
I walk the streets at night
Watch cars go by
And try to think about the memorable times

I always seem to find myself
With my head in the sky
I may not be the best person
But at least I try

So as the stars seem to find me
Wherever I go
I'll always be the one to cry and moan
And you could probably hear my pain

Miles away
Nothings ok
No matter what they say
I'll never be ok
So why not just end everything today! [comments] => 3 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 65 [informant] => WestCPunk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 12 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )

Okay again, great work on this one.
And once again, I agree with arden,
you do indeed have a most wonderful way of expressing your emotions.
I also like how you hinted at suicide right at the end, sudden, but powerful.
One thing you might like to try though (just a suggestion lol) is to try and work with a bi of rhythm.
It might make it better, or it might not, you'll never know if you don't try.
but other than that,
great work!!!

Shelbi, as hard as it is to accept the old adage 'it is always darkest before the light' is very true. So many give up right before the light would start to shine for them. Never give up. You have too much talent and heart to succumb to weakness. Just keep pushing forward and don't look back.

Rita
